By choosing to send SMS campaigns from your own mobile number, you can provide a more personal interaction, and receive replies from your contacts. You can also see pre-send reporting. *
* Alternatively, you can set up and send from an Alphanumeric Sender ID, or you can set up both options.
Possible use cases for sending from your own number may be:
- Anniversary messages, e.g.: Birthdays.
- Calls-to-action that require a response (recipients cannot reply to messages sent from an Alphanumeric Sender ID).
- Appointment confirmations or reminders.
When this option is selected, your messages are sent in batches, to give you time to reply to any contact responses.
It's important to note that your number must be verified before you can begin sending from it, and reverified annually for security purposes. Learn how to set up and verify your number.
All SMS messages (sent via standard number, or Alphanumeric Sender ID) must contain an opt-out link, to comply with spam regulations.
