Templates

Templates are pre-built (email or SMS*) content that ActivePipe saves within your account, created to save you time, preserve your branding, and suggest ways of presenting your message.

Templates can be treated as a starting point or base - you can choose to leave them exactly as they are, personalise the existing content, or change them.

* SMS is currently only available to a small section of AU mortgage users

Email

An email is a type of communication, e.g: as opposed to an SMS.

To create an email, you start by selecting an email template, and then go into the email builder. Remembering that the chosen template is a base, you can choose to add, remove or edit the panels that make up the template to suit your needs. When you save this content, it is added to your current emails list.

Campaigns

Once you have created your content, you can think of a campaign as the vehicle to send out that content.* It's here that you decide:

Who - Which contacts would you like to reach.

When - When would you like to send out your content. For example a chosen time, a regular schedule, or based on a trigger.

What - Which content do you want to send to your contacts, e.g: your email or SMS.
