You can use the "If Clicked Link" campaign condition, to filter your email to contacts who:
- Did click a specified link in a chosen email.
- or Did not click a specified link in a chosen email.
By automatically filtering your content to your contacts' interests or interactions, you show them that you know what they are interested in, and therefore help to build stronger contact relationships.
"Did click" example
You would like to send an email to the contacts who clicked on a link within your recent "Sold Properties" campaign. The email was about sold property values, but you added some links to related content, including investing.
You can create a new email campaign, e.g.: “Want to learn more about investing?”, and send it specifically to contacts that clicked the link, without emailing contacts from your previous campaign that did not click the link (and may not be interested).
"Did not click" example
You would like to send an email to contacts who did not click on a "Sign Up" link within your recent campaign, without sending another email to contacts that did click on it.
Using this condition, you can remind and re-prompt those contacts that haven't yet shown an interest, while not unnecessarily re-emailing (and possibly annoying) those people who have already clicked your link. *
* It is important to note that we can only track actions within the ActivePipe email, we cannot track actions taken at the link address, e.g.: whether the contact completes and submits a form. Please take this into account when creating your content and setting campaign conditions.
