Use the "If attribute" condition to send campaigns to specific contacts, based on information from, or missing from, their contact profile.

Examples

Send an email campaign to contacts in your database that you do not have an address for.

By excluding those contacts you already have this information for, you avoid possibly frustrating or annoying them, asking for something they've already given you.

After setting your recipients, as well as your schedule:

• Add a new module and choose the condition of If attribute.
  • Within the module, select the attribute to target, e.g.: Geo Date
  • Choose the state to match to, e.g.: does not have a value.*
    
  • If the chosen attribute needs further information, complete this, e.g.: a date.
• Add a new module and choose Send Email.
  • Within the module, select your follow up email.
• Once all your selections are made, select Save, or Save & Activate.

* Depending on the attribute you choose, you will have different "state" options, e.g.:
- does have a value.
- doesn't have a value.
- is equal to
- is not equal to

Other examples of ways you could target attributes:

• Postcode - is equal to - 5000
• Subscription Date - is between - 1 May 2024 and 31 May 2024
