Provided that you are aware of and are abiding by your local laws in regard to resubscribing contacts, and have been given the ability to do so in your ActivePipe account, the way to resubscribe contacts is as follows:
Integrated contact accounts - Resubscribing individual or multiple contacts
If you have a valid reason to resubscribe a contact that is integrated with your ActivePipe account, and their reason for unsubscription in ActivePipe is Integration, you'll need to re-activate their subscription within your CRM. ActivePipe will resubscribe the contact when we next sync with your CRM.*
* Re-subscribing contacts with reasons other than "Integration", e.g.: "Contact"will not re-subscribe them in ActivePipe. Learn more about reasons that a contact may become unsubscribed.
Note that in the case of unsubscription by reason of Hard Bounce, Deferral, Soft Bounce, and Failed validation, the unsubscribe status sits in ActivePipe only, it is not pushed back to your CRM. If you believe that any contacts showing these unsubscribe reasons in ActivePipe are incorrect, contact support@activepipe.com for further assistance.
Non-integrated contact accounts - Resubscribe an individual contact
If you manage your contacts within ActivePipe, you can resubscribe a contact either from their Contact Profile, or directly from a contact list.
Resubscribe from a contacts' profile
Start by navigating to the Contacts menu. From here:
- On the Overview tab, locate the contact you want to resubscribe using quick search
- Or, on the Contact List tab, search for the contact using the Search bar.
- Click on the contact record to go through to their contact profile
- Select Manage Subscription (1)
- Within the Manage Subscription options, the Email subscription toggle will be in the Unsubscribed position (2). Click this to update it to Subscribed.
- Select Apply
- Depending on the method the contact was unsubscribed (e.g: if the contact unsubscribed themselves by clicking an unsubscribe link), you may see a subsequent confirmation request. Tick to confirm that you have permission to resubscribe the contact.
- Select Resubscribe
Resubscribe from a contact list
Start by navigating to the Contacts menu. From here:
- Go to the Contact List tab.
- Locate the contact you want to resubscribe using Search, Filters, or sorting by status.
