You can update a contact's Classification (also known as Buyer Type) directly through their Contact Profile, or as part of a CSV upload.

Preference name

To be successfully imported through a CSV file, the column heading for this preference should be:

• Classification*

* The following upper and lower case variations are also accepted: Buyer type, Class, Classifications.
If this field is not successfully matched during the Verify stage of an upload, you can manually match it.

Preference Data

The supported Classifications are:

• Investor - Invest and Investor are also accepted.

• Upsizing - Upsize and Upsizer are also accepted.

• Downsizing - Downsize and Downsizer are also accepted.

• Relocation - Relocate and Relocater are also accepted.

• Browsing - Browse and Browser are also accepted.

• First Home - First Time Buyer and First Home Buyer are also accepted.

• Selling - Seller and Sell are also accepted.

A CSV file with classifications not within this list, or spelling errors, can result in either the whole column being flagged, or the individual data cell being skipped.
