A soft bounce occurs when an email sent by ActivePipe reached a contact's mail server, but was undeliverable.

Common reasons for this include:

• The contacts mail server being temporarily down.
• The email being too large.
• The contacts inbox being full.
• Rejected content - the message sent contains content that the recipients provider doesn't allow. 

After three soft bounces the contact will be unsubscribed .
