If an email is created and shared with you (i.e: by your admin or corporate office), you may find that when you go into the editor, you cannot edit some or all of the email. This will be due to restrictions added by the email creator, or within the template itself.
I'm seeing a lock icon on a panel
If you scroll over a panel and see the lock icon, it means that you cannot change anything for this particular panel, e.g: the footer containing the unsubscribe / manage my preferences link.
The options icon is greyed out
If you can make a panel active by clicking on it but the options icon is greyed out (1), this means that you cannot change any styling or content for this particular panel. You may still be able to re-order or delete the panel.
The delete icon is greyed out
If you can make a panel active by clicking on it but the delete icon is greyed out (2), this means that you cannot delete this particular panel. You may still be able to edit or re-order the panel.
The up / down / move arrows are greyed out
If you can make a panel active by clicking on it but the up / down / move arrows are greyed out (3), this means that you cannot move this particular panel. You may still be able to edit or delete the panel.
I'm seeing "Panels Unavailable"
If the panel options are replaced by "Panels Unavailable", this means that you cannot add or remove any panels in this email.
I cant change anything in the email
If all panels are locked and you see "Panels Unavailable", this email has been created for you in a read-only capacity by your admin or corporate sharer.
