To add articles to your ActivePipe emails using SmartFeed panels, you'll need to source your content from blogs and websites that are RSS (Really Simple Syndication) enabled.
A site that is RSS enabled, means that there is an online file containing details about every piece of content the site publishes.
If you search for a feed and are alerted that it is not RSS enabled, you can:
- Double check if it's RSS enabled through this validation website.*
- If the website is your own, contact your IT department or website developer to discuss enabling RSS.
- If you would like to feature an article from a site that is not RSS enabled, you can utilise a linked text & image panel instead.
You may also find that some RSS feeds have a limit on how many articles are made available - i.e: the 10 most recent articles, to improve load time for readers. This limit is controlled by the feed provider, not by ActivePipe.
* If you believe the site you are sourcing is RSS enabled but you are still seeing an error, please contact Support to assist.
