To add RealEstate Content articles, start by navigating to the Emails menu, and create or select the email you would like to add articles to. Once within the email builder:
- Add a RealEstate Content Feature, Grid or List panel (1) by dragging and dropping it into your template. *
* RealEstate Content needs to be enabled in your account for you to see the panels in the email builder. Contact your Admin, corporate team, or ActivePipe Support to discuss.
There are two options in regard to selecting articles. You can choose to either:
- Select articles manually whenever you prefer to (Static);
- Or set up the panel once and it will automatically update for each send, based on content categories or individual contact matching (Dynamic).
Select articles manually
Add or select the panel to make it active. From here:
- Within the panel editing toolbar, leave the auto feed toggle on Static (2).
- Select any article icon (3) to access the content library.
-
- Within the library, select a category from the side menu (4) or stay on All Categories to preview the latest articles on that topic;
- Select an article from the thumbnail previews to bring it into your email template.
- OR start typing in the name of an article you would like to use within the Search box (5);
- Select an article from the matching thumbnail previews to bring it into your email template.
- Within the library, select a category from the side menu (4) or stay on All Categories to preview the latest articles on that topic;
- If you're using a list or grid panel, repeat these steps to select articles for other sections of the panel.
Within your email template you'll see a cut-down version of the article, and you can edit the heading, image and body copy of the preview if you wish to. *
* The article will revert to the original content when a contact clicks on it.
Remember that this article will remain the same until if and when you choose to change it.
If you would like to have the panel automatically update, see Automating a RealEstate Content panel.
What will my contacts see when they read the full article?
When your email is sent and a contact clicks on the article preview to see it in full, rather than going to a third party website they are taken to a landing page in your branding, with your contact details. *
This ensures that the conversation continues with you, and when they are ready to take action they know how to reach you.
* You can also see how this will look before you send it out, by clicking Preview - View Preview from the email editor, and then clicking on the article just as a contact would.
