When selecting the data for your Insights panel, you have two options in terms of the Data State:
- Static Data
- Dynamic Data
When this option is chosen, the data results are set and will not change, regardless of your campaign send time or frequency. Results are populated when you select Continue within the Insight panel options.
E.g: If you select Static Data, and then attach your email to a campaign to be sent in three weeks time - perhaps the start of the month - your data results will remain as they were when you chose your data set.
If you would like to update your fixed data results, edit your panel settings and select Continue to update the results (these will remain fixed unless updated again, or switched to Dynamic).
When Dynamic data is chosen, the results will update with the most recently available data available* whenever they are sent in a campaign, either on one occasion or recurrently, based on your chosen data sets.
E.g: If you select your data settings and set the data type to Dynamic, then attach your email to a campaign to be sent each month on the same date, the data results will update just prior to each send.*
* ActivePipe will sync with your integrated data provider daily to use the latest received data, however your data provider may only supply new data on a monthly basis. We recommend that you set your campaign send dates to complement your data providers’ schedule, allowing time for the update to sync with your ActivePipe account.
