When a CSV import is complete you will see your Import Overview. This will include details on your Total, New and Updated contacts, as well as Skipped Contacts and Skipped Data.
This means that the contact was not imported into your account. This occurs when both the email address and phone number for the contact is either missing or invalid, which means they cannot be communicated with.
Skipped data means that the contact record was imported, however some of their data was not successfully recorded against their profile.
This may be due to inconsistent or incompatible data, for example, if the data in your CSV file for a Bedroom Min contact preference is "Two", this individual piece of information will not be mapped against the relevant contact, as it is not in a compatible format.
Within the Skipped Data table you will be provided with details on where each data error appears in your CSV file (which row), what the error is, and a link to support advise on how you can correct it.
If other data for the same contact or preference is in a valid format, it will be recorded.
You can download a full list of your skipped contacts or warnings in order to address the errors and re-upload your file.
