If you can't Save & Activate a campaign because the button is greyed out like this:
Start by checking the following to ensure all of your campaign settings are valid and complete:
- Recipients:
Are your recipients selected? If not, make your selections here. - Scheduler or Trigger module: - e.g Date & Time or Opened.
Does your campaign workflow include one of these after the recipients? If not, add one - your campaign needs to know when or how it is to commence.- Date & Time:
Make sure you have selected a date & time in the future (you will see the boxes outlined in red if the date and time has passed). - Trigger:
If you are using a Trigger, make sure you have made selections here,
e.g: Opened > “Weekly Listings Email”.
- Date & Time:
- Delays or Conditions:
If your campaign workflow includes any of these, make sure you have made selections in these modules. - Action:
Does your campaign workflow include an Action module - e.g: Send Email? This should be the last module in your workflow.- Send Email:
Make sure you have selected an email.
- Send Email:
Once resolving all of the above, the Save & Activate button should be active:
